Aamaas Events for everyone.
The story began when making room for a big celebration in 2017, an anniversary party together with 150 guests, live music on stage and a huge whole pig barbecue. From being a storage building for at least the past 50 years we decide to empty and turn the old barn back to its origin with the use of stored farming tools and equipment’s as decorations. Materials used inside are from its origin, fortunately all the treasures was safely stored and the year was 1861.
Ideally the barn was perfect for the stage, as it already was there. The lounge, bar, dining area and dancing floor is located with perfect view toward the stage. In 2017 the additional entry facility with its kitchen and toilet was finished.
I came over this great old timber house from the same era as the barn, it was well preserved and built between 1850 and 1870. It was agreed and decided to move the old house from Ørsta centre and 5 km to the farm in June 2018. Engineers made the move possible and by trucking and large mobile crane the house was secured on the new prepared foundation. The building will be ready for sleepover guests within 1stof July 2019 provided the use of the barn kitchen and toilet. The goal is to finish the guesthouse with its bath in the new entrance hall and kitchens in both floors by July 2020.

Hike and panorama scenery. Guide all year for beautiful getaways and return to the farm.
Guesthouse with two floors, two fireplaces, beds up to 14 persons, 3 living rooms, kitchen with a small kitchen upstairs, one large bathroom in the entrance hall to be shared by guests living in both floors. Outdoor terrace with wood-fired hot tub.
